Adamawa State has been thrown into mourning following the death of the Executive Chairman of Fufore Local Government Area, *Dr. Yahya Saidu*.
Dr. Saidu, who was elected as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flag-bearer for Fufore in 2025 and emerged as Chairman, reportedly departed this life tonight.

His death comes as a rude shock to the people of Fufore and Adamawa State at large. He was widely described as a philanthropist, business mogul and grassroots mobilizer who pledged to propel policies for Fufore’s development.
