Prominent Adamawa lawyer and political stakeholder, Barrister AT Shehu, has cleared the air over the recent Court of Appeal pronouncement that bars candidates who participated in a primary election of one party and later decamped to another party to obtain a ticket.

In a Hausa video message that has gone viral on Facebook, Barr. Shehu, who recently defected with the APC structure to the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) to support Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske, said the judgement is being misinterpreted by mischief makers to cause panic among Haske’s supporters.
