The Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government Area of Kogi State, Hon. Edibo Ameh Mark Peters, has announced the dissolution of his cabinet ahead of his inauguration for a second term in office.
The dissolution, which takes effect from Monday, October 19, 2026, was announced in an official statement issued by the chairman on Monday.
According to the statement, the decision comes ahead of his scheduled inauguration on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
Hon. Edibo expressed appreciation to members of the outgoing cabinet for their loyalty, dedication, sacrifices and contributions to the administration during his first term.
