A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has dismissed a suit filed by former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, seeking to prevent anti-corruption agencies from freezing, seizing or forfeiting his bank accounts and properties.
Justice Joyce Abdulmalik, in her judgment on Thursday, dismissed the case, describing it as speculative and an abuse of court process.

The court also held that the suit failed to disclose any reasonable cause of action against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Department of State Services (DSS) and the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), leading to their names being struck out of the matter.
