Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, on Tuesday appeared before the Kaduna State High Court for the continuation of his trial over alleged corruption and financial misconduct.
El-Rufai arrived at the court ahead of the scheduled hearing, accompanied by the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kaduna State, Isa Ashiru, amid tight security.

His appearance followed a directive by the presiding judge, Justice Darius Khobo, ordering the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), which has him in custody, to produce him in court for the resumed proceedings.
