Troops of OPHK Record Major Independence Day Successes

Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East), Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), have recorded major operational successes across Sector 4 of the Area of Operations in Adamawa State following a series of decisive engagements carried out between 30 September and 1 October 2026.

The operations, which involved a ground ambush, a precision air strike and defensive counter-operations, resulted in the neutralisation of several terrorists, recovery of arms and ammunition and the repulsion of coordinated attacks on military positions.

The operational successes began in the Boima general area of Gombi Local Government Area, where troops conducted a well-coordinated ambush on a terrorist enclave.
